I feel its not virus issue but its weird so i am posting to ask.

I have lenovo G480 - 2012 make .. all ok working perfactly otherwise.

The trouble started before a month or so. The wi fi connection gets disconnected. The automatic  login to available network has been checked in but not gets connected.

Changed power setting , changed adopter setting , installed all adopters and reinstalled them.

Still the laptop swithes of the connection and i have to connect it manually.

During the time the internet is preety well connected on my cell and other laptop.

Now when I carry my troubled laptop to my office and connect to wifi it does not disconnect at all !!

That is something very weird i believe.

I have my router also reset and configured including firmware update but issue at home persists.

Pls help if one can

Try the solutions from here

I have a similar problem and in my case only uninstalling/reinstalling the wireless network adapter solves the issue. It wouldn't hurt to visit the manufacturer website of your wireless card and see if they have a driver update to fix this issue.

If you solve the problem, get back to us and let us know what worked :)

Hi There,

Thanks for detailed article. he has listed not one but all instances of this issue.

I have tried atleast half of them so I am starting from bottom of list.

I  found my wifi is searching the open hot spots so i have disabled it.

I did not see any power option so created mine with high performance and have enabled the same.

I will wait to see the result and post it here.

I just did it so will post my findings in two days time.

Thanks for Inputs.
