Up dates strange behaviour

hi all, been having some update problems with beta2, automatic updates are not loading in to bullguard,and the if you try to put them in manualy it updates,then a pop up says the anti-virus engine is currently busy and could not be stopped. the updated sequence has been aborted,and I got round it so that it will update by switching the anti-virus off, updating and then switching it on again,but if you forget then the updates stack up,and this is all a pain as its not really automatic,now this can happen for 3/4 days or more,and then it clears and the bullgurd balloons come back with the message ,bullguards been updated,but I now know when this issues going on as the update balloons don't pop up,all the right thing are checked,?

This can be the Cause

BullGuard’s LiveUpdater keeps a flag on the disk called "PendingSystemReboot" when it needs a reboot to install updates. This file is scheduled for deletion at the same time as the updates are made, by use of a shared registry key. Some other application / installation package might want to use the same shared registry key, and replaces BullGuard’s entries with its own. Thus, the PendingSystemReboot file never gets deleted, and the LiveUpdater gets stuck thinking it needs a reboot.

1. Browse to the following location on your PC and delete the PendingSystemReboot file manually:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BullGuard\LiveUpdate\Flags
2. Go to BullGuard’s Main section > Account tab and update the application once more.
3. Restart your computer.

Note: “Application Data” is a hidden folder and you may need to follow these steps to make sure you can find it. Alternatively, you can hold the Windows key from your keyboard and press “R” at the same time. Copy-paste the path mention above into the “Run” dialog that appears and click OK.

Or this -

1. Open BullGuard and go to the Antivirus-Antispyware section > Protection tab.
2. Click the [Turn it off] button.
3. Go to the Scan tab and stop BullGuard from scanning (if necessary).
4. Go back to BullGuard’s Main section > Overview tab and press the Check & Update button to download and install the latest updates.

h1 touch,gone to live update file flags,and folders empty, and check over files and nothing has changed that I can see that could be causing this,so I had to get tonights updates, again by switching off the virus protection,then updating and switching it back on,live update is checking for updates and giving times on when checked and the updates are there to be loaded,but they some how are not getting put in the the bullguard system,but its something to do will the virus protection system as the engine will not let them through ,as if they are hidden from that part,or its still thinks the systems scaning so it will not shut down and keep on aborting through that loop? but apart from this all other actions are fine,
