saved games quarantined

so i start up the sims 4 to find my latest saves gone. luckily i have an old backup so i know the name of the file, and i search for it. search comes back with: C:\ProgramData\BullGuard\SentryQuarantine\51\Slot_0000001c.save.(_24342_A962A13217C89EC9B635A06995964174_).bin



can't open it, can't rename it. excuse me but as an admin i think i should be the boss here.



i finally make an account, start up bullguard and go to antivirus > quarantine, and the file is not on the list.



so my question is, how in the cocking nora do i get it back?

That's a combination of how the file/folder permissions from Windows work and the BullGuard Self Protect feature and the fact that the Antivirus Service is on. If that was an actual virus you'd probably be happy it's locked so tight.

I completely understand how a falsely detected game save can cause frustration and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. You should normally find it in the quarantine and be able to restore it, but it seems something happened there.
