Hello everyone!
Nowadays most of the devices we are using are
smart devices. Whether they are smart TVs, media hubs, thermostats, coffee makers, garage doors, webcams, baby monitors, and so on, we use and connect them through our local networks without much consideration. It is not common knowledge that by doing this we we may be exposing ourselves to new security threats.
BullGuard has always been concerned about the security of our users and we have always tried to be pro-active. However, this new need for security, which our multitude of devices have created, was not addressed properly, until now.
BullGuard has unveiled a free Internet of Things (IoT) Scanner, so you can check whether your smart devices are vulnerable to hacking.
The scanner is available here:

BullGuard's IoT Scanner is a web-based application that uses Shodan's engine to check for security breaches in your Local Network. Shodan is essentially a search engine which, rather than finding web pages, identifies devices that are connected to the internet.
