Okay so just out of the blue I got this annoying lil anti-virus at the bottom of my screen that I know is a virus and it's infected my computer. It's not a real anti-virus but some fake called Anti-Virus Soft or AntiSpyware Soft. Anyways it keeps spamming me with porn sites and It has completley stopped internet explorer from working other than going to their site. I'm using Mozilla currently,

A list of real anti-viruses it has blocked and wont allow me to open. Malware bytes,CCleaner and Hijackthis. The only virus protection I was so far able to get up and working was Avast and sadly it didn't find anything after updating it and performing a full system scan. It did however list some dlls it wasn't able to scan, I'll list those here.

c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\algo.dll
c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\aswcmnbs.dll
c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\aswcmnis.dll
c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\aswcmnos.dll
c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\aswengin.dll
c:\programfiles\alwil software\avast5\defs\10041401\aswscan.dll

If anyone can help I could really use the help thanks :freaked:.

Also just to note I have an extra hardrive on this computer if that could possibly help in loading something or in any otherway.

Hello

Please download https://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.com to your desktop.
Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.

Post the contents of exehelperlog.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com, and should open at the end of the scan)
Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

Post the log/s along with DDS logfiles ->

Please download DDS: Here

to your Desktop and doubleclick on DDs.scr to run it.

If your security software includes script blocking features, please disable these before you run this utility.

When the scan has finished, two logs will open.

Copy and paste both reports in this topic.

The logs will be reasonably large so you may have to divide them into sections and make several posts to post them.

Hey after a bit of effort I was able to load up bullguard in safemode, as it looks now the virus has been removed as I've ran ccleaner, malware and a few other anti-viruses and they found nothing, the computer is running fine now. Thank you for the quick response and sorry for wasting your time.
