Dear community;

Is there any way to run a bullguard command line scan without starting the GUI? Each time I scan via console some files GUI comes up and displays the result. Are there any parameters to disable GUI and get a log of result of the scan or to get a result directly in cmd?

Hi janis,

You can start a scan from cmd, but the results are always saved as a .bglog file.

Let me know if you need the command for BgScan.

Hi Janis,

Here is the command:

cd C:/Program Files/BullGuard Ltd/BullGuard [Enter]
BgScan.exe profileid:1 [Enter] (this will start a full scan).

Using a different profile ID starts a scan using a different scanning profile:
ProfileID:2 -> MyDocuments
ProfileID:3 -> Emails
ProfileID:4 -> Quick Scan
ProfileID:5 or higher ->use a previously created profile

Best wishes!

Is there any way to update bullguard without running the GUI version?
Is there any log/output from bullguard (I mean something not shown in GUI).
